On 12 July 2012, Synchron was awarded a Prime SeaPort-e IDIQ contract including all 7 Geographic Zones and all 22 Functional Areas. Synchron’s prime contract number is N00178-12-D-7066.

SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1,800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members.

Quality Assurance Program Description

Synchron’s Principal has extensive quality assurance experience gained from supporting both the Navy’s SUBSAFE Program and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Our quality approach is centered on the use of a Quality Management System (QMS) enabling us to ensure contract performance meets or exceeds requirements.

 

Our QMS consists of formal policies, processes, procedures, and forms ensuring successful delivery, rapid problem resolution, and a meaningful focus on continuous improvement. Our QMS has the following features and benefits:

Program managers present contract quality performance to Senior Management at a minimum of semi-annually. The presentation includes a summary of surveillances and audits performed; the future surveillance and audit plan; significant non-conformances and the status of preventive and corrective actions; notable trends and plans to eliminate or mitigate any negative trends; a summary of completed, in-process, and future planned continuous process improvement efforts; and a summary of customer feedback.

Synchron will continually work with our customers to ensure all performance metrics are objective, non-conformances are appropriately adjudicated, improvement initiatives address shared quality concerns, and customer feedback is aggressively and competently addressed.
