Quality Assurance Program Description
Synchron’s Principal has extensive quality assurance experience gained from supporting both the Navy’s SUBSAFE Program and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Our quality approach is centered on the use of a Quality Management System (QMS) enabling us to ensure contract performance meets or exceeds requirements.

Our QMS consists of formal policies, processes, procedures, and forms ensuring successful delivery, rapid problem resolution, and a meaningful focus on continuous improvement. Our QMS has the following features and benefits:

Features and Benefits

Documented processes  Ensures quality deliverables, reduced performance risk
Continuous Improvement  Improves cost, quality, and schedule performance
Formal Communications Plan  Promotes rapid problem identification and resolution
Use of Lean Techniques  Streamlines / improves processes, increases productivity
Required Advanced Planning  Reduces risk, promotes first time quality, promotes success

Program managers present contract quality performance to Senior Management at a minimum of semi-annually. The presentation includes a summary of surveillances and audits performed; the future surveillance and audit plan; significant non-conformances and the status of preventive and corrective actions; notable trends and plans to eliminate or mitigate any negative trends; a summary of completed, in-process, and future planned continuous process improvement efforts; and a summary of customer feedback.

Synchron will continually work with our customers to ensure all performance metrics are objective, non-conformances are appropriately adjudicated, improvement initiatives address shared quality concerns, and customer feedback is aggressively and competently addressed.
